The CAN-FD Cable is a spare part designed to enable diagnostics on vehicles that use the CAN FD (Controller Area Network Flexible Data-Rate) protocol. This protocol is commonly found in newer vehicles, including select 2018–2020 GM and Ford models.

The cable works with compatible Vehicle Communication Interfaces (VCIs), allowing tablet-based diagnostic tools to communicate using the CAN FD protocol and perform accurate diagnostics on supported vehicles.
